Ketchup and Mustard

If you can't tell, I really like matching things. It is an art. Finding similar colors to match something from a different store or even year is really a challenge and I get a sick high when I find stuff that meshes well together. As soon as I put this on today I wanted a hot dog. The colors look like ketchup and mustard!

On a serious note tonight is out banquet and I am looking forward to passing on NSSLHA President to another student who will hopefully do better than I did. I am excited to finish the year on a positive note...well the school year doesn't end for another 5 weeks (including finals).
Lets get this year over and done with so I can make some money, take the GRE and get a tan!

To Cheyenne and Back

I ran to Cheyenne today.
Had to get the centerpieces for the banquet tomorrow, whoo!

I loved my fun and flirty outfit!
Colored pants with sandals in March is absolutely crazy to me! The cold nights though remind me that a snow storm could come at any time though. But until that storm I am going to wear Spring and Summer clothes as much as I can.

The Gym and I

I am loving this nice weather!
That's really all I can say about today.
I have been so busy with school and working on the end of the year banquet for my Division that I haven't been doing "fun" stuff.

The most fun I have been having has been going to the gym to sweat out some stress this week.
I am such a crazy girl,Whoo hoo! I go to the gym and that's the most fun I have all day.
Geeze, I need to have some real fun.

Last Friday Night

First off I love this color combo of leopard with this peachy pink color! I saw this combo on a model and thought I too would try it out.
But anyways, last Friday night I went to a condom couture fashion show and I walked in and there sitting at the front of the room was Mondo from Project Runway!!

Ya!! I know, right! But here is the real kicker, I didn't bring my camera and all I could think about was how cool a picture of him on my blog would be.
I bet you're saying "why didn't you use your phone camera?" Well my friends, the camera on my phone is broken. Well, the camera isn't broken but something is covering the lens so you can't see anything.
Bummer I know.

Yup so that was my Friday night. Looking at Mondo and not being able to take a picture of proof that he was really here in middle of nowhere Laramie, WY. Sad day i know. At least I have a good story from it though.
Happy Monday folks!

A (Class)Room with a View

Everyday I wake up I see the mountains from my room.
I can see the clouds rolling in or beautiful snow-caps.

Today and this weekend it is and was in the high 60's. The warm weather was welcome.

This is the classroom with a view.
Now who else gets to see this during class?

The Hunger Games

Holy crap people it's here it's really here!!!!!
The midnight showing of The Hunger Games is finally here!!!!!
I am so excited to go see this movie and to hang out with some new friends (cheesy yet deliciously true) in line at the movie theater!
I have an outfit equation for midnight movie fashion:
scarf+ sweater+ pants(elastic waisted)+ moccasins+big nerd glasses= an amazing night!
Nothing is worse than sitting in line for hours but doing it with tight uncomfortable jeans or dry eyes from contact lenses.

Another thing that creates a great time sitting in line for hours is a big bag filled with Phase 10 cards, snacks and drinks. All parents should teach their kids how to sneak snacks into the movie theater. I'm sorry concession stand but I do not want to spend more on a drink than my movie ticket. I plan on packing Zip-Lock bags of Kettle Corn popcorn (the best kind of popcorn), Rasinettes and Gummi Frogs! For a drink I bring my small Nalgene bottle and slowly sip on it, you do not want to be the person climbing over people to use the bathroom while Katniss is volunteering as tribute.
The nail design below is a Hunger Games inspired look from Effie's manicure from the first trailer I saw.
If you are seeing the Games tonight:
Good Luck, and may the odds of finding a good seat ever be in your favor.

Not So Skinny Jeans

You might have noticed that I am a huge fan of jeggings and almost all of my pants are that cut. Well, I pulled out this original boot cut babies and decided to change it up for a day.
I am not a fan of the change but I am a fan of this top and sweater combo.

These adorable shoes I found at Target with my momma over break. She came home and goes "we gotta go shopping" who's to argue with that statement. When we got to Target she B-lined to the shoes and showed me these and goes "I saw them and I knew you would love them but I didn't know the size you needed."
Momma, you can be amazing sometimes.

This weather is also having a sparkling moment.
I am loving the sunshine and warmth but it is making my brain think summer is around the corner but in reality its around a couple of corners through a shady area of town.
A curve snow ball could be headed this way at any moment I feel.

But until I strike out with the snow I am wearing my Spring looks.

First Day of Spring

Spring has officially sprung but it's been around for quite awhile now. I want Mother Nature to keep up the good work but knowing her she is a tease.

I feel a little like Fall in these colors but nevertheless it looks good.

Spring Forward

Well, back to school today. The first day back to classes always is the worst. People look like zombies marching aimlessly through campus. Everyday this week I am something big due or an event. To make this miserable Monday a little more manageable I decided to lighten up with a happy yellow sweater. Sometimes all I need is a cute bright colored outfit to make me smile.

On the bright side though, the weather has been so nice in all the places that I have been to the past week! I'm hoping that this great weather continues but that's blind hope. Knowing Wyoming weather, there will be one more huge snow storm before school gets out but it will only stay for a day..I hope.

We have 7 long weeks until summer. Forty-nine days until hanging at the pool, tanning and going our with friends takes up my day. I cannot wait, people. I need some warmth in these bones and some sun on my legs. This white body needs a little color.
But anyways...
For those of you who have the nice weather, get those flippy floppies out and enjoy a cold beer in a lawn chair...have a second one for me.

Need Want Lust

Need: Target Navy Lace Top

Better Late Than Never

The day before I left was a busy day. First my mom and I went to break fast at my favorite place, Mae's.

It's a cool little place that sells all Michigan products. The vibe of the place is kinda like grandma's house with the old school decorations and 50's feel. All the dishes look like they have been bought at garage or estate sales fueling the grandma;s house appeal.

After breakfast, Eric and I went to the Detroit Zoo. We have a new display for the lions. See how close I am to her? Glass is the only thing between me and her.

I did not plan this but I kinda looked like a peacock.
The birds were all flirting and fanning their feathers.

How pretty!

Green Bean

Today was a crazy day weather wise in Michigan! We had a mid 70 degree day and in the afternoon a tornado touched down in an area around Detroit! This nice weather is bringing all the crazies out, even those in Mother Nature.

I felt a little crazy today in these adorable green jean capris. They are brand spanking new at Old Navy and they come in multiple bright colors. As you can tell, colored pants are all the range this season and I hope they stay "in" for awhile for the amount of pants I've bought!

I leave to go back to Wyoming on Saturday but tomorrow is going to be an exciting day full of breakfast at my favorite little diner, packing and a birthday party full of fuzzy navals and game playing. Can't wait for the fun tomorrow but I can wait another week or two to go back to school.
Enjoy spring everyone!
